Sullinger sported a glove during Thursday's practice, but said it's simply a precautionary measure aimed at protecting a lingering injury sustained last month against the Bobcats. The injury doesn't seem to be an issue for Sullinger, he's posted some great games, and he doesn't seem bothered on the floor.
"It’s been bothering me since the Charlotte game, so I just decided to finally wear something because there’s a deep bone bruise and a couple sprained ligaments in my left hand," said Sullinger. "But I’ll be all right."
I'm not worried about the hand. I would be more concerned if it was the back. As for another injury, Bradley and Wallace bumped knee's Thursday. Bradley, who has started all 29 games of the 2013-14 season, has been a consistent player for the Cs averaging 13 points and 4 rebounds in an average of 30 minutes per game. His jumper has improved as the season moves on, and his corner three is one of the best in the league. The injury doesn't serious, but it would be a blow to the Celtics if they lose AB.
BRADLEY, WALLACE BUMP KNEES: Neither Avery Bradley nor Gerald Wallace engaged in the final drills of practice after bumping knees during the session. Bradley got the worst of the collision, sporting an ice wrap above his right knee and receiving some treatment. Stevens didn't seem too concerned. "[Bradley] and Gerald bumped knees, but it doesn’t look like it’s anything major," he said.
