With the Nets out of contention right now, along with their big brother the Knicks. Plus lets not forget the latest Rose injury putting the 6-6 Bulls in a bad spot once again. The East is two team race right now between the Pacers and Heat. I still like the Pacers beating Miami, but I still hate the fact that the East has become worse. The top teams that were supposed to put some fear into Miami are not even in the mix, and they look like they'll never be in contention this season.
The season is young, but I think the Pacers and Heat are destined for a rematch from last years East Finals. The Pacers have the best defense, and they have a certain confidence that they didn't have last year. The Pacers are still without Granger, and at this point who knows if he'll even be a factor. I don't know about you, but I don't see the Hawks as contenders.
