The Celtics hung around for about 36 minutes against the defending West Champs. The Spurs turned it up in the 4th behind Danny Green's three-pointers, and Celtic turnovers. The Celtics had 17 turnovers in the game. Jared Sullinger, made his first start of the season he had a double-double by halftime, and finished with a team-high 19 points and a career-high 17 rebounds.
The Celtics starting unit came out tonight with Bradley scoring 19 points, and Jeff Green also scored 19 points after scoring a total of 6 points in his last two games. The Celtics lost this one in the third quarter, and they tried to put together a run in the 4th, but the closest they got was 7 points. The Celtics effort returned despite the loss. I like the move for Sully into the starting unit. The Celtics will return home to take on the East's best team the Pacers Friday night.
