Celtics by the Numbers: The four game losing streak

Posted by shawn cassidy on November 20, 2013 at 2:10 AM

This has been much worse then the prior 4 game losing streak. It's been painful, unbearable, you name the word with a some negativity behind it then you can use it when describing the losing streak.

The Stats below represent the last four games. The numbers show that the Celtics hardly get to the line, and their three-point attempts are low.

The numbers below indicate what teams have done against the C's.

The numbers below are the Celtics stats for the past 4 games.

The Celtics are averaging a modest 88 points per game during this losing streak. They average 93.4 points on the year. As for the other teams. The Celtics are giving up 103 points a game. Their average loss is 15 points per game. The Celtics FG% is below average as well at 38.5%. They can't make a basket.

So what about the guys?

Sully, Lee, and Bradley are the guys right now. Green where has thay guy been? He's not the reason behind the Celtics losses, but he's not helping either. I think Lee has been the most efficent player with the minutes played. These numbers are crap, and I love this new tool from NBA.com!

You're right Shawn.
The real problem is not that we're losing, it's HOW we're loosing!!
