The Celtics have been close in all four losses this season, but when it comes to the 4th quarter the Celtics can't hang on. So, I'll run a few tables from NBA.com to shed some light on the C's 4th quarter woes. This first chart will cover every player's 4th quarter when it comes to scoring, and passing, along with how often they turn the ball over.
Jeff Green is an awful 15% from the field. As you see by the numbers, the Celtics leading 4th quarter scorer has only played in one game this season. Everyone else averages 2 points, or less in the 4th. Here's another graph of the lineups in the 4th, and it's the usual suspects.
