(Video of Paul Pierce blocking James)
Paul Pierce looked like the guy that we all love and miss. He scored a team-high 19 points along with Joe Johnson. The Nets build a nice lead late into the 4th, but the Heat made a wave of three's to cut the lead in the final minute. The clock caught up with the Heat in a 101-100 loss in Brooklyn.
"It was good that we got a taste of this type of atmosphere this early in the season to try to see where we're at," Pierce said. "Miami, whenever they come into town, they're a measuring stick for everybody, so it was good for us to come out and get the win."
The Heat have dropped two in a row, and the alarms are not sounding just yet, but some concerns might be happening in Miami. KG ended with 6 points, and 7 rebounds on 26 minutes of work. This was a nice win for Brooklyn, and a nice surprise after the Celtics game.
