Olynyk shines in win against the Knicks

Olynyk was the star from this past summers, "Summer League". So far Kelly has showcased his passing ablity, and Rondo on the record has said that Olynyk is the second best passer on the Celtics. Against New York's B,or C team. Kelly showed his bag of tricks with 15 points off of 5-6 shooting, and 4-4 from the fould line. He was also active on the boards with 6, and he had 3 dimes in 25 minutes. Not bad at all..

I don't expect this every game, or much at all this season. But it's nice to see the potential. Danny Ainge pulled off a crafty trade to bring in Olynyk, and in a year or two that deal will pay off. Kelly has shown that he can score inside, and he can shoot the ball from three, and from 15-17 feet out. Olynyk is looked at as someone who resembles Dirk, and other great players who can shoot, and pass the ball, who happen to be 6"10 or taller.

Kelly will fight with many bigs for time. I can see him playing more small forward then power forward this season. With the emergence of Vitor, and with Humphries playing well, and with Bass picking up his play. Along with Sullinger playing the best out of any player so far. Kelly will be fighting for any shred of time he can get on the court. This is his rookie season, so we shouldn't expect the world from him.
