I don't think it's an unbelievable thought that Rondo doesn't comeback better or stronger.I think he's been working hard,and his mental toughness, along with his ability to look at the game in a different way will open help. Plus it appears that his shooting has shown even more improvement.

I love what Gay says, that Rondo is the coach on the floor, and that he will assert his will - but that won't happen if Rondo keeps saying 'oh gosh, golly and gee willicker, i'm not the leader, Jeff Green is...'

That said, it seemed like he played an active and verbal role on the bench. That seemed a good sign.

Outsiders know this is Rondos team,or should be. So get on board. Rudy Gay would give up an arm for him,not literally of course.

Rondo doesn't need to say it. Everybody knows it's his team. He is the captain and the last of the past. Rondo is a champion and winner. The team's persona will follow his lead, especially when Rajon returns to the floor.
