This is supposed to be Jeff Green's breakout year. He showed flashes last season, and he vowed at media day that will see his inner "Asshole" come out.I don't want to sound to harsh after a preseason game, but Green was either out of shape, hence him working out after the game, or he was mentally not into the game.

This game was just like so many others in Jeff's 23 minute stint in the Celtics first preseason game. Jeff was 2-of-7 from the field for 6 points, with a pair of free throws. Jeff had three turnovers, along with 2 assists, 1 rebound, 2 blocks, and a steal. He filled up the stat sheet during 23 minutes of action.

Green will have another chance Wednesday night, to shake off the rus

Kris Humphries & Jeff Green hopped on the treadmill after the game, hoping to improve their conditioning for Brad Stevens' uptempo style.

uptempo sounds good, but let Rondo be the playmaker when he gets back. We don't need Jeff Green bringing the ball up the floor all the time.

I just want them to get the ball and RUUUUUNNN!!! That Wallace fast break with a feed to an Olynyk layup was awesome to see. GW took off when he got that steal!
