Title dreams have been put on the back burner. What expectations do you hold? We've talked about adapting, change, and everything over the moon about the 2013-14 season. It's coming down to the point where a lot of the questions will be answered. In the meantime we play things out in our minds. I think most of us have either predicted what the Celtics record would look like, and which players could and should breakout. The big question surrounding Rondo's return will either come to an end, or it will give us a few more answers on when he'll return.
In a perfect world, Rondo comes back like nothing has happened. Rondo's a fearless guy, but somewhere in the back of his mind the injury still lingers. Despite the Celtics being out of contention. It will be a fun season with up and coming stars, or rookies, and maybe even someone like Bradley will take his game up a notch or two. Hell even look at these Boston Celtic hopefuls.
"Last week, guards Kammron Taylor (Wisconsin) and Chris Babb (Iowa State), and forward DeShawn Sims (Michigan), all Tweeted that they'd be camping with Boston. Camp bodies are typically roster longshots, but defray veteran reps, while receiving a chance to showcase their talents for an NBA audience."
I honestly don't see any of those guys making the team. Danny is just doing his part, and Danny has a plan in place to keep the Celtics under the cap, and set for a quick rebuild. Speaking of Danny. Where the hell has he been? After a loud start to the offseason, Danny has been under a bunker somewhere dodging Rondo questions. In a few more weeks the 2013-14 season will get under way, and some of the of our questions will be answered.
