Wilson5296 DOC. you need to talk to Bradley more if you wanna have a better team in the playoff. A. Bradley need to learn from what Rondo used to do on the floor pass the ball is your job.
Somebody is missing Rondo. Bradley isn't a point guard, and it's something that can hurt the Celtics in the playoffs. It's one of the big questions. Can Bradley run the point.
Doc3357 I'm not buying the "deserve to lose" garbage. It's the coaches job to manage leads even when focus is lacking. They were up by 13 early in the 3rd against a bottom rung team. You can't play the defending champs without Garnett like they did and come back and give away one like Boston did tonight. Doc gets paid the big bucks to handle these kind of situations. Tonight, he's passing the buck. Be a man Doc. Take some blame.
I agree with Doc 3357. I love Doc, and I just posted on him, but he's not a coach who takes blame. The Celtics have been this way for years, and I think it has something to do with Doc more than the players. His subbing is awful at times, and he doesn't play match ups well. I think White, or Randolph should have played.
Celtics34capt "Wilcox is back in the dog house. Less than 10 minutes when he is the BACKUP CENTER is pathetic. Jet has had way too many 0 for games. The bench can't get it done and because we have no depth, the starters are asked to score 80-90 pts a game and that's not realistic. Until we get a center who takes pride in protecting the rim and cleaning the glass, this team will come up short against teams with size."
This team has many flaws, and some nights they can mask their issues, but sometimes they just can't. I like the depth of this team though.
Steve_Z_Sox9 "Bad loss. What was disappointing was the Pierce and Green combined for 2 rebounds each in their 60 minutes on the floor. The stat that sticks out as the cause for the loss was their undershelming rebounding that more than offset the edge the Celts got from their turnover advantage. I suspect some of it had to do with the effort put out Monday and KG returning from injury and illness."
I hope Doc gives Shavlik Randolph a chance to play a bit more to see if he can give them something along the lines of what Stiemsma gave them last year. Doc liked what he saw in the one opportunity he had with extended minutes. If he can help on the boards it could be a nice plus and maybe take a little wear and tear off KG.
I hope Doc uses the size more. White or Randolph. Danny signed them for a reason. They should have played in the second half when the Celtics needed someone. Bass had another okay rebounding game with 6. Pierce, and Green didn't give much on the glass. I think most fans blame Doc for this loss, and I have to agree.
