Celtics by the Numbers: Against the Bobcats (3-16-13)
|
|

Key stats:
- The Celtics shot an amazing 66.7% from three-point land. That won't happen every game, but it's nice to see. AB seems to be finding the range as of late. He struggled with his corner three for awhile, but his confidence, and arm strength has improved.
- The Celtics had 28 assists off of 41 made field goals. Wilcox showcased what kind of passer he can be. He had 4 assists, and some of the best of the night.
- Rebounding was solid, and it was a nice surprise seeing Randolph grab 4 offensive rebounds out of the 8 that he ripped down. The Celtics controlled the glass 42-35.

The defensive stats:
The Celtics held the Bobcats to 30 points in the paint, and a decent 44.7% from the field. The Celtics forced 12 turnovers, and I know if KG had played that number would have been higher, but overall the defense was solid without the anchor.

Wilcox had a lot of minutes. Nice game for him, but wish he'd had more rebounds.
