Recap: Celtics handle Philly 109-101

Avery Bradley showed his offensive game, scoring a season-high 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Paul Pierce added 18 points on just 10 shots (making all four 3-pointers he put up) while adding 11 rebounds and seven assists. Jeff Green (16 points) and Jordan Crawford (12 points) provided a spark after missing his first three shots.
Boston has won three straight to move a season-best five games over .500 at 32-27. This wasn't a great game by the Celtics. They lost large leads at times, but ran the lead back to 14. Philly was scrappy until the end. The Celtics had 22 turnovers, and they had about 4 in-bounding passes that were turned into 8 points or so. The defense was sound with Boston holding the 76ers to 41% shooting, but those damn turnovers allowed Philly to stay in the game. Along with second chance points The Celtics also allowed 64 points in the paint. The Celtics move within 1½ games of the fourth seed (creeping behind a cluster of Chicago, Brooklyn and Atlanta). Tomorrow night will be a tough game against the Pacers.
