Pierce never lets us forget he's the truth

“He had an up-and-down game tonight. He was struggling, and then all of a sudden he just kind of reached down.
“He’s just a great player, and that’s what great players do. He was exhausted, and you could just see it. He just reached down and grabbed it from somewhere and made shots for us. We needed it. We wouldn’t have won without that.
Fact's exist, truths needs to be believed. Being truthful is important to me. So I'll tell you how I feel. I've had a love, hate relationship when it comes to Paul Pierce for the past two seasons. I think he over stepped his bounds with Rondo, and I think his hero ball antics cost the Celtics at times. I also understand that your truth is important. You may believe I'm wrong about my thoughts, and I could be.
My life is not just a single truth. Each story has some lies behind it. It's how it is sometimes. But a village of many finds the truth. The version you believe, may be different from mine,And both versions are true, to each of us. The duality of truth. Fights for resolution, and yet coexists. Paul Pierce is Mr.Celtic, and he's the guy in Boston. Paul can still carry a team for stretches, but ego can get in the way. With the Celtics entering this years playoffs without Rondo. Paul must be true to himself. Rondo has carried the Celtics in the playoffs more so than Paul has. Paul will have to rely on the Green's, and Lee's to help.
He can't do it alone. Paul looked like a man that needed an oxygen tank. He go the job done, but every great player needs others.
Pierce: “We knew this was going to be probably the toughest game for us physically and mentally. You talk about a long trip coming to one of the toughest places to play, and we felt like the only way to kind of salvage this trip was to get a win here. The guys did a good job of being mentally tough and doing what we had to do to get the win.”
I looked at this game being the toughest because of the front court depth. They have four bigs that could beat up the thin C's. The Celtics found a way, and that's what we want in the playoffs right? The C's were in every game on this trip except the Lakers game. That Laker game was a moment of the Celtics being in the wrong place. First game of the second half, and they just lost their owner. They wanted a win against the Celtics, who they hate. Just like we hate them. This trip could have been worse, but to you the truth. I'm happy with the two wins.
