Recap: Pierce takes over in overtime, and Celtics end trip with 110-107 win over Utah

Paul Pierce almost had a triple-double, putting up 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting to go along with eight assists and seven rebounds and it was his offensive heroics in overtime that helped Boston escape with a tough win to close out a hard fought five-game road trip. The Celtics wanted to end this trip better than they started. Pierce would not let this team lose. He still has it when he needs it, and when playoff time comes around Pierce won't have to worry about back-to-back's.
Avery Bradley had a fantastic game, and AB carried the offense early, scoring a season-high 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting. Utah's Hayword was another white boy killing the Celtics. The Celtics can't guard the Korvers,or Hayword's of the world. Jason Terry was solid with 14 points off the bench. It should be no shock. The Celtics lost the war on the glass 44-37. They basically lost by 7 because they gave up 15 offensive rebounds compared to Boston's 8. The Celtics will set up their mini camp for the new guys, and maybe a few more new bigs. They play one game between February 26th,and March 5th.
