Celtics Title Town

The Celtics counter a 6 game winning streak with 5 straight losses. When Rondo was asked about the Celtics latest skid, and what positives the Celtics may take from this. He said the team's play has been like "night and day." Rondo looks visibly troubled, and that's normal after a loss, but his face reads like a man lost with no answers. 

Rondo has seemed to find his magic, but his team  has regressed. Nobody seems to follow his lead. Pierce, and KG look older, and we know how that goes. They have stretches like that during the regular season. But for some reason it feels a bit different. Thursday night Rondo didn't get much out of his young teammates. Bradley was 2-of-7 in 31 minutes. He actually had the best +/- if you care about that stat. Bass was another no show tonight with 4 points, and 1-of-3 from the field. 

If the Celtics want to shop guys like Bass, and Green the value must be low on these guys in the eyes of most GM's. The Celtics should have won this game, and they shouldn't have fallen down by 10 in the 4th. What will become of this season, and team, and Rondo.  I feel for Rondo. This season was his supposed to be his MVP quest with banner 18 at the end. Now it's about scrapping for each win, and getting teammates motivated just to win one single game.
