Rondo's assist streak ended when he was ejected against the Nets. During that process Rondo had two 20 assist games, and he had a few 15, and 16 assist games. In Rondo's last ten games he's averaged 8 helpers, but his scoring hasn't changed one bit. His minutes are down a bit, and he's been losing minutes since the bench has been performing out of this world.
Rondo averaged 13 assists through the first 14 games, and since then he's around 9.5 per game. His average is 11.1 helpers per game, and seems to be less concerned with getting assists, which isn't the worst thing, but his scoring average stays the same. I would like to see Rondo close to 20 points a game with 11 assists.
It's kind of nice that the streak is over, and it's been over for awhile now. It's a pressure that Rondo didn't need. I still think Rondo should have more assists, and if he doesn't he should have more points. A little more production would be nice.
