Celtics Title Town

The Celtics went into halftime down 15, and everything from last night almost came undone. The Celtics gave up 53 points in the first half, and Rondo was playing awful defense against Lou Williams who scored 16 points in the first quarter alone. The Celtics got their shit together in the second half, and put forth one of the best efforts of the season. The Celtics gave up 28 points in the second half to beat the Hawks 89-81.

Paul Pierce was the offensive force in the 33 point third quarter the Celtics put up. Pierce had 17 points(26 points for the game), and that alone out scored the Hawks in the third quarter. Rondo got his act together, and he followed Bradley's lead. Rajon Rondo produced the 25th triple-double of his career with14 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists Saturday night.

Sully was a heavy hitter on the glass with 9 boards in 24 minutes of work. He also chipped in 8 points off the bench. The Celtics win back-to-back games, and they also win the glass for two straight games. They out rebounded the Hawks 44-36. The Celtics can be the best team in the league. It's always about hustle, and energy with this crew. When they play hard, and execute. Everything falls into place.
