Rondo (hip) a game-time decision vs. Kings

"I have no idea [if Rondo will play], I really don't," Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reporters in Oakland after Saturday's loss to the Golden State Warriors. "I didn't ask. I'll ask later tonight or tomorrow. But usually I kind of let [trainer] Eddie [Lacerte] tell me. I stay out of that whole thing."
"Again, I don't even know how bad the injury is," said Rivers. "Listen, all I know is Eddie's been in this league long enough to give me a good decision."

I hope he is ok for the next game, and I really hope that the night off helped him a little to find the right path because right now we are more than lost..

Maybe it was the injury that made him play passively recently. I am with you Morena, that I still trust Rondo. I have faith in his character, intelligence and will. He is struggling through something, but the player we've known and loved will be back, I hope soon.
I wonder too if the injury happened before the Clippers game and could help explain how Rondo played then. Or is something else going on, possibly? Something weird is in the air. There seems to be a lot of speculation, not just from me, that Rondo is about to be involved in a trade.

I don't know what's going on.
I read somewhere that the injury happened during the clippers game, but it wasn't official.
Maybe he wasn't feeling all right even before the game.
Maybe, as we said, he is just frustrated. He started the season strong like last year, but for some reasons, exactly like last years, the team didn't seem to follow his lead and since December he isn't playing well. Is he just frustrated? Is he injured?
Sure I hope he is not involved in some crazy trade!! Every year it's the same. I hope this is just a silly joke.

Rondo won't be traded. The Celtics are building with him.
