Recap: Celtics lose big in LA 106-77

I feel bad for KG that's why I have him up there with his head down. If their is any Celtic that deserves apologies from teammates it's Kevin. He gives his all every night. He was scoring when the Celtics had no place to go. He put up 16 points in 26 minutes. I think that's another story in it's self.

I turned the game off tonight after Sullinger got called with a flagrant-1 for essentially preventing himself from getting dunked on by Griffin  in a poster style dunk in the third quarter. It was the dagger. The effort stopped after the Celtics pulled within 4 points in the second quarter after they trailed by 15 points in the first quarter. The Celtics lost control after getting so close. I was dead wrong about this game. I thought we would get the Celtics that wanted to win a title. What got something totally different. Chris Paul without a doubt proved that he's got the better team tonight.

You could say that the Clippers are just hot right now. But when you lose by 29 points. Something is wrong with this team. I think the discussion of blowing this team up will pick up. I really have nothing else to say about the Celtics at this time.

Shawn, even KG was weak in the early part of the game, when it really was lost. But I agree with your last comment. I just don't know what to say anymore. This team has talent, but it's really a pretty weak team. Every once in a while it shows signs of life, but even the worst teams in the league play well at times. Look at Detroit blowing us out. Once again Pierce has risen, just like he did last year, with his hero ball, and once again Rondo has been subordinated, and has gone passive. Only this time, Rondo had his chance to shine earlier in the season, and at first it looked like he might build up to something pretty great, only he never really did. Now he seems lost on his own team. He seems like an errand boy, almost. He brings the ball off and then hands it off. By the time he started to play more aggressively tonight, the game was long since over. Maybe he needs a change? Maybe the Celtics need a change? Jet lagged or not, how do you come out and play so passively against your main rival?

I don't think I trust in Rondo anymore. The guy I saw tonight has all the talent in the world, but he's no Larry Bird.

He'll never be Larry Bird, because Bird trusted his teammates yes, but he didn't trust them to win games. It was Larry who did that. This team needs a change, and with Allen leaving. Maybe he knew the 2012 run was it. I love Pierce, and KG but maybe we can't win with them. I think this is KG's last season folks.

I agree. KG will surely retire after this, if this team doesn't get it together, and frankly, that means Rondo. I love the way you put it about Larry. Yeah, he trusted his teammates, but he took responsibility to win games. Rondo hides behind his teammates a lot of the time.
