Celtics Title Town

The Celtics are not the real deal my friends, and they might be down the road, but right now there best player has checked out on defense. Tony Parker went off for 22 points, and his backup Gary Neal added 20 points. Rondo was tired, and maybe he needs time off. Doc has played him a lot, and Rondo may feel some effects from the double overtime game.

Boston  was stuck in their traditional  catch-up mode the entire night. The Celtics finally pulled even three minutes into the third quarter, only to let off the gas for just long enough for the Spurs to open a double-digit lead. San Antonio embarked on an 11-0 run. That's been the story all season.

Paul Pierce and Jason Terry had 18 points apiece to lead Boston. They seemed like the only two that showed up. The Celtics scoring has dropped off a bit, and the defense has taken 8 steps back. The Celtics turned the ball over 19 times for a season high, and Rondo had his second game in a row with 7 turnovers. Bass was a no show once again. Brandon had 2 points in 18 minutes, and rebounds who cares. The Celtics may see a shake up this season. Danny has players to work with after January 15th. If this core doesn't get their act together. We may see new faces. Bradley won't fix this team.
