Doc was trying to copy the heat's small ball to try and match up with them early in the year. But I said before the year that's not the way to beat them. You are just playing into their hands by going small as well. They been blown out now 3 games and you see a pattern in all their loses. Teams that go big they have massive trouble with. Next time we face them Doc better play our Centers. Force Battier to guard a big man down low
I disagree with this fan. Doc used the bigs tonight. KG played the entire 4th quarter after Doc rested him wisely through three quarters. The plan was to have KG play around 28 minutes, and he came close to thatwith 30 minutes played. Bass played 32 minutes, and Sully, and Wilcox played heavy minutes off the bench. If this fan wanted Darko, or Collins then I'm sorry the others played just fine.

its no coincidence that when PP comes in the game the offensive flow stops and the other team starts getting even more layups.
my god doc the guy should not play over 25 minutes EVER. not to mention he doesnt show up until half time.

The fans are kind off key right now. Pierce was fine, and honestly Rondo, and Pierce pretty much set the tone for the remainder of the game before Rondo hurt his ankle. Rondo had three assists in a row, as Pierce nailed three 3's in a row from Rondo passes. Doc wanted Paul around 30 minutes Wednesday, and he got him there with 29 minutes. Pierce has done a better job this season playing with Rondo, and within the offense. Pierce only had two turnovers, and the team had just nine, and that's a sign to me that Pierce was just fine Wednesday.
Why do people think Darko will get a lot of rebounds? Never has before. 'This guy is the never-ending project player. Maybe Doc can coach him up before the playoffs, but let's not get crazy and expect much.
I think he's better than this fan leads on. Will Doc use Darko? I don't think so, because Sully, and Wilcox are better. Plain, and simple.
Good win tonight. I like the celts this year a good roster reset. Just rebounding and some pick and roll defense needsbwork but overall this team is gonna be a good one. Should have reduce wilcox minute to put in darko for a feww minutes same with collins s. Thats just my opinion. Lets go celts ! Chemistry is key and grit ishear
Why put those guys in when Wilcox can dominate at times on offense with Rondo. Wilcox also had five rebounds. Wilcox is the guy. Collins, and Darko would have stopped the four bigs from Utah? This game was awesome. You take away the 18 offensive rebounds, and this game had Gino time written all over it.

It's a shame Wilcox is the sub for KG. A line up with KG and Wilcox both on the floor together would be deadly.
I agree, but I also think that Doc has figured out his rotation, and it's working. So, I don't see him tweaking it again.

Shawn, I both agree and disagree with you. I agree with that fan that it was a bad idea to imitate the Heat, and that size can defeat them. That said, we are where we are now, and I'd like to believe that it had more to do with building a team for Rondo than with imitating the Heat (only, Rondo does love having a go to guy inside, like Shaq), and right now, Darko and Collins are not as good as Bass, Sully and Wilcox.
I agree with u guys as well. Darko,and Collins are fillers,and their was destined for the bottom of the bench. We knew the big rotation. The other guys should have taken advantage when Wilcox was out.
Wilcox coming back has been so huge. But no excuses for the crappy rebounding.
