The Good, the Bad,and the Ugly: Game 3 Celtics @ Wizards

The Good
I already posted about the great offensive surge by the Big three, and about the standout first quarter defense. The Celtics need to take the next three days, and study the film. They need to learn or they'll never raise the banner we all desire.
Green was a standout off the bench with 11 points Saturday night. I think the Celtics still need a little more from him, but he's taking big strides. Doc only played Green 16 minutes which isn't enough.
I was very pleased with the lack of turnovers Saturday. Of course the Wizards don't force many turnovers, but it's still a solid sign that the Celtics have improved a bit. I would like to see the Celtics at 12 or turnovers for the season.
The Bad
We all have very high expectations for the bench this season. It's still hard to get a fair idea of who's the key guys on the bench. Sullinger, and Bass have both started, and both have been he first big off the bench. Honestly we should be pleased with the 27 points scored by the bench Saturday. I feel like the bench can score in the high 30's though. The Wizards bench scored 66 points against the Celtics Saturday. That number could be misleading. But it's a prime of example of what the Celtics bench needs to do.
The Ugly
The Celtics were out rebounded 46-35 Saturday. Doc inserted Sully to add some rebounding into the starting unit. Sully did fine with 7 rebounds, and KG added 7 of his own in 29 minutes played. The Celtics are still having issues with rebounding, and I don't think they'll fix it this season. It's who they are, and it's the way Doc coaches.

I like what Rondo said. Frankly, this team absolutely sucks. They suck. How loud can I say it. THIS TEAM SUCKS. They are not a good team. They are not contenders, unless you mean lottery contenders. After six preseason games, or however many it was, and three regular season games, we can definitively say that this team flat out sucks. They suck. They are a bad team. Just awful.
The good news is that I think we can believe that they will continue to try to get better, and they will find their way to some answers. I do believe in this team. But man, right now, we are in the land of serious suckage.

It's that simple, Rondo, in my opinion. You have to get after those point guards. When your teammates see you doing that, everything will build from there.

I feel when the pressure and urgency gets just to that boiling point, Rondo will take over the remainder of the season and the rest of the team will follow. He is just too damn talented to allow the Celtics to falter. He will find a way, #9 always does.
I think he'll find the right way to lead this team. But I wouldn't be surprised if Ainge made a trade. Not Garnett or Pierce or Rondo, but anyone else could be part of a trade
