The Magic ring in the new era with a win, and Davis plays big in his new role. Davis scored 29 points, and he pulled down 10 boards, and a shocking two blocks.
Glen Davis is the 3rd Magic player with 29+ points and 10+ rebounds in a season opener. Dwight Howard never did it.. The others are Shaquille O'Neal in 1993 and Tracy McGrady in 2000.
Good job Glen, wish you the best of luck down there.
