Wade making something out of nothing

This topic has been examined on this site in so many ways, and on other sites. And this story has set the tone for the entire season for both teams.
"I mean, I don't think it was a hard foul," said Rondo. "[Wade] sold it a little bit. That's basketball. They were up, he drove to the hole, I didn't want to give up a layup. Simple as that. I didn't yank him down, or dirty plays that you've seen him play in the past. So that's what it is."
Earlier in the day, Rivers suggested that Rondo's foul was only a "punk play" if Wade's takedown of Rondo in the 2011 playoffs that dislocated his elbow was deemed the same. Rivers did seem amused that the play has become such a talking point.
"I thought it was nondescript. I really did," said Rivers. "[Rondo] grabbed him around the shoulders, it wasn’t that hard. So I think it’s much ado about nothing, personally. And I hate going back to [Rivers' playing] days, but, my gosh, that would have been maybe a foul. I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. But I guess it is."
To Doc's point it's a big deal, because Wade made it a big deal. It's also blown up because it's good television. I won't lie, it's lovely being able to hate Wade even more on our side. Wade shows his true colors. Rondo has a coolness about him through this entire mess. Rondo doesn't want to be bullied by one of the NBA's made men. He shouldn't stand for that, and as a fan it gives me more respect for Rondo.

That is how I felt about Rondo too. He knows he could have fouled much harder and given the history still chose not to. Plus at one point I saw #6 palm and push Rondo's head and Rajon nearly had to do a cartwheel to stay upright and no call.
The Heat have star power that refs look away from. It's a damn shame.
Rondo handles that interview with so much aplomb and humor. But his real answer will, I think, be on the court tonight...

And I love how he answered about Wade!! As you said, Paul, you have to love how he handled this interview!! But now, as he said that Wade plays dirty, I think we have to wait for another reply from the Heat. It's more than obvious that they have their own set of rules, but instead of being quiet as they should be in this situation, it looks like they just won't shut up!!
They should not forget that people, outside of Miami, are not blind. Wade is making a fool out of himself saying that Rondo's foul was a punk play, after all the times he has really played dirty.

I agree, Morena. Wade acts like people are blind.
If I remember well, when Doc talked about Rondo elbow injury this week, you said that Wade probably would have said that he didn't do that on purpose, but it was Rondo who took him down with him. Now, I'm asking myself if you have a crystal ball!! Here's what Wade had to say about that:
On Doc Rivers bringing up his takedown of Rondo a few years ago:
?I?d ask to really go back and look at it and he would see Rondo pull me and then I pulled him and we both fell. That?s how I was falling because Rondo pulled me on that play. I apologized to Rondo for that because I don?t ever want to see anyone get injured"
