Rondo seemed a bit irritated. We don't see the entire interview here. But he wanted no part of it tonight. But the message was clear. The Celtics must improve on the defensive end. I feel good about the team. Rondo was gambling last night, and it paid off a couple of times. Pierce stepped in as Rondo stepped away.

The Celtics have a week to get ready, and to finalize their game plan for the 2013 season. The Celtics may start off the season slower than expected, or they may just fly out of the gate. This is a big week of practices.

This teams chemistry may not happen like 2008's team, and nothing is wrong with that. I welcome that actually. I want this team to be different. The only thing that should be the same is an NBA title.

I know it's not all on him, but Holiday kills us every time we play Philly, and on the offensive end, nothing but Js it seemed like. I know it's preseason. Rondo's got to play tougher D on his man. He first established himself as elite in the NBA on the defensive end. What happened to that? I know he likes to gamble, and I know the disruption he causes when he strays into passing lanes, etc., is important to our D, but Rondo doing a bettter job of controlling the opposing pg is important too.
