The Celtics are so deep right now that the idea of different starting units is very appealing. This was a tweet from the Celtics twitter account.

I like the idea, and it makes sense. The core of Rondo, KG, and Pierce will stay intact you can count on that, but some nights we may see Sully start, or we may get Bass. We could also see Terry start over Lee. It all depends, and hell maybe will see Green, and KG start up front some nights. The Celtics want to come out swinging with this great depth that nobody seems to understand outside of Boston.

I think Doc in the end won't overwhelm the squad with to many changes. I think he'll pick a consistent starting unit at some point. He simply has so many options right now, and we don't even have Wilcox, or Bradley at this point. Some could say this is a problem, but how this team thinks. It's not an issue. This team isn't built around ego's. Lets not forget this isn't south beach, and it's not LA.

Basically, Rondo will be the only one pushing forty minutes. Everyone else will be shuttling in and out, even KG and Paul.

Exactly, we finally get to rest Pierce more. But Rondo needs rest when he can.

Love Sully!!!!

Rondo needs to spot rest, and the thing is, with Terry on board, he can easily do that. He needs to grab a few minutes here and there throughout the game.
