Chris Paul is convinced the Clippers have the secret to beating the Lakers-Yahoo

"The [Lakers] have definitely added some pieces, but the good thing about our team is that we are good enough and tight enough that we only have to worry about us," Paul told Yahoo! Sports at an event in Hollywood hosted by Hennessy to celebrate Paul being featured on the cover of GQ magazine. "The thing about us, we are like a family. When you are all in and competing and you genuinely care about your teammates, it means something. It does something for your team and the camaraderie."

Chris Paul in his Yahoo interview, stated he was unfazed by the Lakers. I think the Clippers are a bit to cocky. Paul helped the Clippers of course last season on their playoff run. Many believe in the Clippers, but the Lakers are just to good. Paul, and the Clippers need to show they can repeat their success for a second season.

Chris Paul just makes me sick. He whined and whined and whined and so finally they gave him a gold-plated, gift-wrapped team, and STILL he didn't get far with it. Yet still we keep hearing that the only reason Rondo stands out is the HOFers around him. I can't wait for the Cs to get the Clippers by the throat (basketballwise)...

He's rated the top point guard of course. Wow surprise. The NBA is crap, they try to brainwash us all. Rose didn't even play much last season, and they give him a better ranking. Next season Rondo's going to be Rondo, and the media won't know what to do.

Because they wanted Chris Paul, and some of them that I recall even wanted Deron Williams. People want the guy who can go for 40 points, which Rondo can, but he's all about the win.
