Question of the day: Fisher a Celtic?
| Posted on September 24, 2012 at 8:00 AM |

I close my eyes, and I let the darkness suck me in. I offer my heart to let myself die. The sweet ellipsis of life. I'd rather bite my nails to the bone. I'd rather fall out of plane to my death. Well maybe not that far. But the thought of Fisher putting on the Celtics green, and white makes me want to get out of my chair, and walk into on coming traffic. Fisher embodies what I hate in other teams role players. He's a Laker, and that's that. It's not the same for me, as Shaq in Celtics green.
Let's be real as well, Fisher won't do anything for the Celtics. He's a major defensive liability, and it's just not worth it. Of course he's got a lot of championship experience, but it doesn't mean everything. Just say no to Fisher Ainge.
Boston Globe
It’s late September and Derek Fisher remains a free agent. Fisher wants to return for a 17th season, but the demand may not be there. He could be a consideration for the Celtics, given his leadership capabilities and positive influence last season during Oklahoma City’s run to the Finals.
So what do you guys think? Fisher worth it?
