Question of the day: Could Rondo, and Sullinger be the next great duo?
| Posted on August 27, 2012 at 8:00 AM |

Its a mystery how the human heart gives us life right from the start. Pumps our blood and makes us grow. Yet breaks so easy when someone lets us go. All of life's big moments we try and seize. From the day we're born till they lay us to rest. We strive to succeed in this lifelong quest. In sports it's not so complex. But it has a reality to it.
It's a true mystery as to who will gel as a duo. Last year, who could have ever imagined that Wilcox, and Rondo would have connected so easily. Rondo seems to get the best out of players. Look at what Rondo did with Shaq in a short time. I've been wondering as of late. What if Rondo can mold Sullinger into a better player. If anyone can do it. Rondo can help mold Sullinger. I apologize to you guys for the large amount of Rondo posts. But he is the MVP of this team, and he's lived in the shadows of the old Big three long enough. It's his time to be the focus.
Sullinger could be a blessing that fell into the Celtics lap, because other teams were worried about him. His potential was so hard to pass up. With Rondo in the mix. Sullinger could be something big for Rondo as well. So could are we seeing a duo form? Something that could move the Celtics on into the future? I think the potential is there for a great duo.

Rondo and Sullinger can be really good together I think!! I'm sure Rondo has already begun to study Sullinger to see the best way to play with him; they just need practice to find the right connection!!

Preseason is going to be huge for the Cs this year.

I agree with all of you. The pre season could tell us a lot. I think if the bond over camp, that will lead to great things.
And the way I see it, the players will spend a lot of time figuring out the best way they can play together. It won't be just Doc dictating to everyone. I think Doc is changing his approach a little bit, as he sees a team developing that is full of knowledgeable and motivated people.

This ball club really is going to be something special. A great chapter is about to be written in Celtics history.
I think Celtics fans can feel it, even if the rest of the league can't.
