Record Corner: The Velvet Underground & Nico
|
|

This series may not appeal to everyone. But it's the off season so I thought it would be different to post records out of my vinyl collection. I posted Bob Dylan's Blonde on Blonde, and the next album I selected was The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967). This was their first album. This group had to be the first indie band of the time. Although experiencing little commercial success while together, the band is often cited by many critics as one of the most important and influential groups of the 1960s. This band without question is in my top ten favorites. Enjoy!
