Rondo shooting over the summer

Posted by shawn cassidy on July 28, 2012 at 8:00 AM

Could Rondo be a a great shooter?

Smith: "He's worked at it. At Oak Hill he changed his shot, at Kentucky he changed it again, and now in the NBA he's changed again. I think he shoots better than people think. Some nights you look at him and go 'Whoa'. He's developed into a better shooter. He's never gonna take bad shots, he's gonna take high quality shots, he gets to the rim and makes shots that way as well. I've seen nights where he's hit three or four 3-pointers in a game, and NBA range is much longer than college, so I know how much time he's put in. He knows the way people are talking bout him, but he works at it all the time."

A time of growth. As difficult is life is. You will be stronger, As you face each day with patience and hope Rondo. The seed was planted in the ground. There wasn't anyone around, but Day and night has passed; winter evolved into spring. Rondo's shooting has evolved. Up grew this beautiful thing called Rondo's shooting game. This thing shot up as high as the heavenly sky. This flower was tall beautiful and bright. Despite of all it had knew and went through A beautiful flower it grew.

Can't wait to see Rondo shooting jumpers again.

Can't wait either. I think shooting will follow Rondo around his entire career.

I've never understood this claim that Rondo will never be a shooter. HE ALREADY IS A SHOOTER! The touch he has when he is 'on' is unbelievable. What he has lacked is consistency. That will come. This year one hopes.

Any player who can score 44 points in one game, can hit jumpers.

Toldya he needed that 40 point game to show people that he can score.

and I have a sneaking suspicion that he's out there somewhere, practicing threes like crazy, even now...

People think you have to be a Rose or a Westbrook to considered an elite point guard. Such simple minded people can't even understand how elite Rondo really is. He had to give them a 44 point game and an EPIC playoff series to have them finally look his way.

Even some of his teammates needed to see that, I think, to realize how big Rondo's game really is.
