Alex Kennedy: Jermaine O'Neal just finished his workout. Now he's talking with Mitch Kupchak and Mike Brown. Twitter
gary washburn @GwashNBAGlobe Perhaps a little too late for the #celtics but Jermaine O'Neal looked as good of condition as he had in years during workout for #lakers
Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA Jermaine O'Neal looks good during this workout. He can still be a contributor in the NBA. The Lakers can sign him for the veteran's minimum.
Do I wish JO luck? Nah, not really. Shame on Danny for paying him too much, but Danny did what he had to do. JO came to the Celtics over weight, and not ready to play for a championship team. I know JO had the Kobe surgery on his knee. But I don't buy his greatness right now. He is not built to play in the NBA for a large amount of games.
In other news, the Lakers are looking at Jamison, and that's a better move than signing JO. The Lakers have been taking are big man leftovers. Troy Murphy from last season, and JO this season. No official word yet, but it seems like it will happen. The Lakers are old guys, much older than the C's. I don't know if it's a good thing, or bad thing. I still don't think they solved their issue on the wing. Ron Artest, keeps getting older, and older. He's an old 32 in the NBA. Soon to be 33 when the season starts.
