Building on what Steve Kyler wrote earlier, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that the New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks and Miami HEAT have all expressed interest in unrestricted free agent forward Rashard Lewis. Lewis shares mutual interest with the HEAT, Lakers and Knicks in particular. They are all three over the cap, meaning they can only offer the mini-mid level to Lewis. HoopsWorld
The Celtics are one of the teams in the mix for Lewis, but to be honest I say pass on Lewis. He's 32, but nothing is wrong with that. But something about Lewis rubs me the wrong way. He didn't live up to his gigantic contract. He did come up big for the Magic during the 2009 season, but since the 2010 series against Boston. Lewis has been a shell of himself. I think he'll pass on the Celtics even though he's on their list. So would you want Lewis in green?
