I second that emotion Doc. I do disagree with you that this team had nothing in the tank. Rondo I think disagreed with you. I do as well. The Celtics just lost focus. Maybe you are right Doc, but I felt with KG only playing 13 minutes in the first half, after facing foul trouble, with 3 quick fouls. I thought the Celtics got a major break leading by 7,and KG sat with foul trouble. I figured he come back fresh for the final 24 minutes. Despite this team winning just one title. I think this team could have been  one of the all-time great teams in league history. This team has seen it's unfair amount of injuries, and that was the dagger in the heart for this generations Big three. We could have seen a three peat, or even four peat?

We will always be left with what if's. In are personal lives, and with our beloved C's. What if KG played in 2009? What if Perk played game seven in 2010? What if Danny didn't trade Perk? All of us will carry those thoughts with us until banner 18 is raised. Even after that happens. Their is no guarantee that those thoughts escape us. Rondo will be our biggest link of the past, as he is our future, and the now. I wanted it so bad, so bad that I would have sacrificed  anything that I could. This series will always come down to game six, and how the Celtics didn't show up. And you can even say game two.

This team fought until the end, but I guess, as it's very hard to say. The Heat just wanted it more.

I love this team. But they laid down on thursday, with the exception of Rondo. It's hard to un-surrender, though they did try, at least enough to go down with dignity.

exactly. It's pretty hard to surrender, and then un-surrender. It's just hard. I'm sure Rondo is pretty angry about a lot of things right now, including his own need to become a better shooter, but one of those things has to be the way his teammates laid down on thursday. He'll never say it, I'm sure, but it has to be rankling him.

I'd be mad as hell too!! Pierce shooting 3-18 thursday?? C'mon guys!! Give Rondo some help.
He was the best player on the floor throughout the whole conference final!!
They asked for the crowd to be as loud as ever and then they played laid down!!
I'm so sad and disappointed.. I'll need some time to get over this..
We could have won another championship with Rondo MVP of the finals..

This team developed bad habits, but none of the talking heads want to say it.
