Bass has been spot on in his last two home games, he had a rocky game six in Philly. But who didn't in that disgraceful game. Bass has averaged 21 points in his last two home games. Bass has been exactly what the Celtics have needed when he's playing in front of the Garden faithful. The Celtics will need Bass on the road. The Celtics need a lift from someone, and that duty falls into the lap of Bass.
With Ray Allen's scoring iffy for the most part. The scoring will need to come from Bass. I feel confident in Bass, but he will need to show up on the road. Bass is averaging 10.5 points on the road in the playoff, and 12.7 at home. Outside of Bass going off for 27 points in game five against Philly. Bass has played equally on the road, and at home. I think more than Bass scoring the ball, we just need him rebounding the ball. Bass has yet to have a double digit rebounding game in the playoffs. His playoff is at 7, and that's worrisome going into the Miami series.
What would I like to see more of besides rebounding? I want to see some thunder from Bass, I want to see him throwing it down in the paint. He can easily get to the paint, and we need that going forward from Bass. Brandon will also need to bring his defensive intensity. Bass has been the perfect role player this season. He bounced around from the starting unit to the bench, but he's been stable enough in the starting unit now, to have formed a perfect flow with the Big Four.
