Nobody is picking the C's

Really no surprise guys, and I like it that way. I want the Celtics to shock the world. Nobody outside of New England believes in  the Celtics.

EXPERT PICKS-ESPN

All Experts Pick Miami in how many games?

Abbott In 5

Adande In 6

Arnovitz In 5

BarryI n 6

Bowen In 6

Ford In 7

Forsberg In 6

Gutierrez In 6

Haberstroh In 5

Hollinger In 5

Legler In 6

Stein In 5

Wallace In 7

Windhorst In 6

In 2010 here is  how the experts picked them

I want all of the above men to cry in a corner if the Celtics win. I'm not saying there wrong, but how can we call these men experts when they can be so wrong? My pick the Heat in 6. No not really, I see the Celtics winning in six games. Call me a homer, but oh well. I think the Bosh factor will be the turning point, along with Rondo being the engine that wins the race. Before the playoffs I picked a Celtics vs Spurs Finals, and I am close to being right.

I love when the ESPN experts go down in flames, much like James. They will always pick the Heat,or Lebron. They even picked them in 2008 over the Celtics.

YEah look up the picks. Brossuard, James very own personal beat writer. Picked the Cavs in six over the Celtics in 2008. The Celtics were a 66 win team!! The CAVS WON LIKE 45 GAMES.

Seriously, people, it's hard to blame them, in this case. The Heat just blasted the Pacers, a team we struggled against, and we struggled to beat the 8 seed. Everyone SHOULD pick the Heat.

To win the Cs have to step up to a higher level. Can they? Will they?

I think u don't give the Sixers Credit. Its sad when the Celtic beat writer can't even pick them. I don't think the world is taking losing Bosh serious.

*cough* hello *cough*

Alright, anyway, common sense says Heat in 6. It's probably what's going to happen. However, I believe in this team 100%. They have displayed more heart than any team since 2008.

Oh , I hear you about the Cs writers not picking the Celtics. Now that does verge on ridiculous.

But they haven't shown a lot of urgency in these playoffs. Sometimes it seems like "grit and balls" becomes an excuse for playing without urgency.

I'm very interested to see how the Cs come out on Monday.

Oh, btw, I give the Sixers a lot of credit. But they are still a cinderella team that we shouldn't have taken seven games to, barely, defeat.

I mean, does it even mean anything at all to you that the Heat blazed a path through their competetion, a damned good team, and we pretty much coughed up the lead to the Sixers repeatedly?

The Celtixs should NOT be favorites. Not even close. I don't think it means that you aren't a fan if you are critical of your team. THEY HAVEN'T EARNED THE RIGHT TO BE CONSIDERED FAVORITES.

Let them earn that right with some impressive play, ok?

I don't think the Celtics are favorites in any way. But they are a believable team, a team that will be grit&balls till the finish. They really shouldn't be here with the mountain of injuries and adversity. So we owe it to them to simply believe.

Really? Are they the only team that has faced injuries and adversity? Hell no. I'm sorry, but I am angry and pissed off at them for coming out flat again and again in these playoffs, and then playing it off as a consequence of how fabulous their opposition is. Really? BECAUSE IF PHILLY IS THAT AWESOME compared to our dear ones, then MIAMI IS REALLY REALLY REALLY GOING TO KICK OUR AZZES.

I sure as hell don't own them anything.

But even if we did believe with all our hearts in them, which I think is more than a little silly, sorry, then that still doesn't affect a reasonable assessment of who should be favored.

Put it like this: I don't think they will win with my rational side. I believe they can, however. Currently, I am simply trying to enjoy what is the very tail end of an era.

I also want to say that Philadelphia really did play a great series. They did what young teams rarely do: respond. We could and should have gotten rid of them earlier though.

I love how Philly played. It will be very interesting to see how they do next year. Collins is kindof fascinating. I think they were, if nothing else, a good way to get ready for the Heat.

I agree too that they CAN win. I think they can too. It's gonna take a big step up for them though, and I don't see indications of that so far. I will be very interested to see how they come out Monday. What will they bring to this?
