Garnett putting the Celtics on his back

We've known for a couple of season now that this season has had an arrow on it for KG's possible last season. The way he's playing right now, he could play another two seasons or so, but his passion, and effort seem like he's ready for the end. What a story that would be. Garnett walking away as a champion. Garnett came into Boston in 2007 as the savior. So far he's been the best Celtic in the 2012 playoffs. Kevin is putting up 18 points, and 10 boards so far in the playoffs. Garnett is also playing close to 38 minutes per game, and he's able to sustain the same force.
It’s sad how things, Especially good things come to an end. But they must. In the meantime, with all of the injuries KG's teammates have been dealing with. KG knows all so well how injuries can set you back, or take you out completely. Last season Dirk put the Mavs on his back to carry the Mavs to the championship. Dirk did have a little help from his friends, and KG will need that as well. But Garnett knows that Pierce is hurting, and that Allen could be gone in a second. So Garnett it taking this team over. He wanted the ball last night, and he won the game for the Celtics. For the Celtics to beat both the 76ers,and the Heat assuming they beat the Pacers. It will take Garnett being the man, and he'll need Rondo to help.
Some people may fear life, or fear death, and maybe fear happiness, and everything in between. But KG fears losing because he doesn't want to lose. KG has been very sincere. Committed, true and plain, but he believes in his agenda. Requisites won't be down the drain.

Garnett will give it a good go at it. He will eat Bosh up in the Miami series, but that doesn't mean a series win, that will up to Rondo.
Lol - got to get there first!
Folks are saying that Garnett is our most important player. I see the argument, and in a way I agree, but I think that when you come down to hit, Garnett had it right when he said that Rondo is the leader now.
We'll see how that plays out.

Rondo needs to get aggressive ,plain and simple.
Thank goodness KG is in domination mode. Rondo will very soon calm himself and focus on that same philosophy and we will continue the best two man game in the NBA. When these two play off of each other, there isn't a damn thing you can do.
I feel offense really needs to generate out of KG more. He is realizing this with his fellow old men trying to keep up. But last night all but proved how dominate KG still is. We can create easy shots by drawing double teams like he did last night. We have sooo many options to play off of with this. Cuts from Bradley/Rondo, open 3's, you name it. KG is a threat and the Hawks series all but proved it.

Agreed. We need him. But it's a tough journey for him - the spotlight gets hot.

The big spotlight is on Rondo for the first time in his career. Sure he was recognized before, but not like this. Before the big 3 had a huge part of carrying the team forward. Now, however, Rondo knows that the teams success plays a large role in how he controls the game. This is even more so now with Pierce hobbling his way through and Ray could not be there any second.

I wish Rondo and Pierce could find a little of that vibe that Rondo and Garnett have.
