I want to sound off on this short and sweet. Some blogs have complained, and some have not(I think). About why has Doc played Hollins over Greg? It's real simple. Hollins has out played Greg. I think it's obvious. He grabbed a big offensive rebound last night, and it saved the game, and set up KG's game winner. Hollins may not play better than Greg, but his hustle, and impact in the post season has been leap years better than Greg. I think we forget sometimes because he's 26 years old. But Steamroller is a rookie, and maybe the playoffs are too much for him to handle right now, and maybe his feet are bothering him more than we know. Hollins has only played in one post season before coming to Boston from the waiver wire in March. But Hollins has followed KG's leadership, and maybe that has played a part in this.
I think a lot of people are madly in love with the great white hope. I think they have blinders on. Greg has made no impact so far in the postseason. But I did see more from Greg last night. He had a sound block last night reminding me of what he can do. But their is no question in my mind that Ryan has out worked Greg. Greg is better I believe, but Hollins is giving the Celtics what they need.
