The Celtics only have two games to go. The Celtics have their rest with five days off for KG, and Pierce. Rondo, Allen, and Pietrus have been resting because of injuries. I think with two games to go in the season. I believe the Celtics need to play their healthy players in the final two games, just to keep things going. If the Celtics put their best foot forward. They play the Heat for one last time in the regular season at the garden, and they finish off the Bucks on the final day.
The Celtics can win both games, if they at least have Rondo back. The Celtics can rest Allen, and Pietrus. But honestly I still won't mind Rondo getting rest if he must. The Celtics are two games back of the Hawks in the loss column, and the good news if they tie in the standings? The Celtics own the tie break against the Hawks.
The Hawks don't have the easiest schedule in their final three games. They play the Knicks (4/22), Clippers (4/24), Mavericks (4/26). The Knicks are battling for the 6th spot with the Magic so I see them playing full force, and the Clippers are fighting for the Pacific Division, and the Mavs are fighting for playoff seeding. The Hawks won't have it easy.
Their is still a small chance we see the Magic, but I still don't think so. Were tied in the loss colunm with the Magic, and they have three games to go. They play at Nuggets (4/22), Bobcats (4/25), at Memphis (4/26). I see them beating the Bobcats. The Nuggets, and Memphis are still fighing for playoff seeding.
Some made a big deal about the rest Friday night. But the door is still open for homecourt. I still don't care if we have it or not. But it's still an option.
