Question of the day: Who should end games Ray or Bradley?

Posted by shawn cassidy on April 22, 2012 at 1:10 PM

We know that Ray has moved to the bench as the Celtics 6th man. Bradley has taken over for Ray. But even if Ray starts the game on the bench. That doesn't mean he ends the game there. Ray has finished many games during his last return. The Mavericks last year had the same kind of formula. DeShawn Stevenson started the games, but Jason Terry finished. Stevenson was a defensive player, and Terry was an offensive powerhouse off the bench.

With Bradley scoring the ball at a high level. A much higer level than Stevenson did for the Mavs. Should Doc think about finishing the game with Bradley? Should he stick with Ray at the end of games? I guess it depends on how one of them will be playing during a certain game, and maybe match-ups will determine Doc's choice.

So what do you think?

It depends like you say. I prefer Avery now.

I think it's going to depend, and on substitution patterns. If the opposing pg is killing us, it could be Bradley for Rondo at the end of games.

I think it will be Rondo, and Bradley together. Rondo is a different defensive beast in the playoffs.

Most of the time, I think that's how it will be.
