Rondo assist watch

Posted by shawn cassidy on April 5, 2012 at 4:50 AM

Rondo had 11 assists in the one-point loss to the Spurs. Rondo also had his 14th straight double-digit assist game. Nash out West dished out 9 assists, and his team won gaining ground on the final playoff spot in the West. Both Rondo, and Nash remain neutral with their assists average.

Rondo will have his work cut out for him today against the Bulls, and the return of Rose.

Rondo played 44 minutes last night. He's going to have to reach down for everything tonight, and he's going to have to do it while hauling a sackful of Doc's insecurities and Allen's ego on his back. I know he will adjust, but this has turned into a very rough situation for the Celtics. It proves to me that Allen fully intends to go elsewhere next year. If he wanted to stay with the Celtics, he'd have been more than willing to adjust to Avery's rise. But like Pierce trying to quash Rondo, Allen is now trying to quash Bradley. And he'll succeed. And the team will suffer. But I believe that just as Rondo finally figured out how to make the situation work, Bradley and Rondo will do the same together. These guys are dynamite, and they will find a way to make the best of this new situation. They are both thinking team all the time.

Yeah i thought rondo played to much last night but honestly if they took him out i think they woulda started getting blown out again plus that lineup was getting us back into the game but i hope he has some legs tonight.
