C's have the third best record post All-Star break

I was posting  during the Celtics five game losing streak just before the All-Star break that I felt like they could go on a run after the break. I pointed out some of the best runs after the break, and  a lot of those teams moved on to win it all. It's hard to say if the Celtics are their, but it's much better than the alternative. Only the Bulls, and Spurs have a better post All-Star break. record. The Celtics are currently 13-5 after the break. The Celtics are also over .500 by 6 games the largest difference of the season.Despite the Celtics great record after the break, and pulling even with the Sixers. The one focus is  health.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers admits he's not quite sure of the best way for his team to attack the final month of the season as far as balancing rest versus pushing for a higher playoff seeding. One thing he made clear Wednesday night is that health remains the priority in his mind.

"I don't know the answers," said Rivers. "So if you guys have any suggestions, we're going to put a box up [outside the locker room] and then just slip your little message in there, because really, I don’t think anybody knows. The way to do it is get up by 10 games, like some of the teams are, and they can rest. At the end of the day, if it came down to seeding or health, I’m going to choose health. You’d rather have a better seed, but you can go wherever you want, if you’re not healthy, it doesn’t matter anyway. Especially with us.

That's really the truth. Health is the most important thing for this group. I think the Celtics will be fine if they go 10-6 the rest of the way. I think they can pull off a record like that with rest. I think the role players have stepped up all season. I think it will be a great test for them if Doc sits  the big four a few games.

I hate Doc sometimes. I really effing do. Wow, what a sickeningly arrogant crew our Celtics are. YES WE DO KNOW THE ANSWER, DOC, AND WE'VE BEEN TELLING YOU FOREVER AND YOU DARN WELL KNOW IT.

We have to play the young ones. We cannot just sit on them. This team will NOT win a championship with just the OLD ONES (yes, KG, the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD) ones playing. One of the reasons we are better is that Jermaine is gone, and KG has gone to center, and Bass has moved up and Stiemsma has moved up. Doc only ever plays the young ones out of pure necessity; shame on him. And he has the arrogance and gall to sneeringly ask us if we have any solutions.

We've been telling him the solutions for years. When you sit on young players like a load of bricks you ruin them, and then they aren't there for you when you really really need them.

I'm glad the lads are feeling so damn feisty. I JUST WISH THEY'D SAVE IT FOR THE OPPOSING TEAMS. Crapping on the fans is accomplishing what, KG and Doc? Do you think you are proving how smart you are? Prove how smart you are by winning a second championship.

I love your anger this mornong. No its passion. Your calling it like you see it. But Doc loves his ego driven stars. I love them too, but I don't want them banged up.
