When Rondo returns what happens to Bradley? Does he just back-up Rondo? Bradley has been able to play shooting guards in the past. Even though Sasha, and Daniels played great Monday night. Bradley played that much better. Pietrus will be the first wing off the bench, but if he backs Pierce. Does that mean Bradley can back-up Ray Allen? I think Bradley has found confidence, and Monday was the pinnacle of his confidence coming out.
Rondo has been an all-NBA defensive first team player. He knows how to play defense. To be honest Rondo hasn't been the same defensive player this season. Bradley was the spark plug that set the Celtics off Monday on a defensive rampage. Can Bradley add the same energy with Rondo, and will it get Rondo going? I know they won't play a lot together, but I think in stretches it could provide a few things. Rondo, and Bradley could kill teams on the defensive end, causing turnovers, and easy baskets for the Celtics with Rondo, and Bradley running the fast break. Maybe having Bradley on the court with Rondo, will allow Rondo to gamble a little more, and withmore effect. It all depends if Bradley uses his new found confidence. Lets not forget he's young, but their was a time when Rondo was a young second year point guard who helped the Celtics to banner 17.
Just like Rondo had when he started out, Bradley has offensive flaws. Bradley was getting blocked, and taken down during the first ten games of the season. It looks like Bradley has found something out on the offensive side of the ball. His offense may come to life once he finds a little confidence on offense. It's always nice to get a surprise, and unexpected gift, and Bradley has been that kind of player this season. I just hope it continues. I feel like it will, because all he lacked was a little confidence, and he found it for sure Monday night. So what do you think! Should Doc play Rondo, and Bradley more often together? Should Doc play them together at all?
