Rondo gave fans everything they could have asked for from him and more, and still it seems like it's not enough to please the fans. Many seem to be so locked into worshipping the Big Three that they just dont' see the player developing before their eyes. Chris Paul had 20 points and 9 assists last night, MOST OF THEM IN GARBAGE TIME for God's sake. But you watch, the boobirds will be calling for Chris Paul if Rondo doesn't lead us to a win over Miami, no matter how well he plays, and even if he does, they'll just settle down for a game or two, no more.
My criticisms of Rondo's game yesterday are that his man scored 20 - Rondo plays a lot of team defense, but needs to stay locked in on his man more - and that he should have shot more in crunch time.
