Question of the day: Should the Celtics look into West if Barbosa is done?

I hate the fact that we even have to start this discussion. For me Barbosa is better than Delonte West. At least now in their respected careers. Barbosa is an instant scorer, and his defense has proven to be better than advertised. As for West he continues to battle with depression, and other mental illnesses. I lost respect for him when he was crying about a job when the NBA was going through the lockout. The only thing that keeps me from completely saying no. Is that he played some of his best ball in Boston, and the team seems to help him mentally, or so it seems.


I hope we receive better news today on Barbosa, but it seems like most reports suggest he's done. So what do you guys think?

I lost respect for West then too, Shawn. Some of the guys in the NBA seem so totally clueless about how many people in this society are struggling to survive.

But I reckon maybe he could help us now.

I dont think the Celtics will grab him. He wont get a third chance.

I really want the celts to take a look at Allen iverson. But west wouldn't be bad he's for sure better then shelving mack and he's had big game experience and won't be overwhelmed come playoff time.
