"The other Steve is coming along," D'Antoni said of the two-time league MVP. "I don't think we have a timetable. He feels some nerve endings that are tingling and when they go away, we'll start ramping it up and he'll be fine.
"Whether it's tomorrow or next week or next month, we'll just take our time and he'll eventually be there. As soon as he gets there, I know, give him an hour and a half and he'll have the offense down and running it like a clock. So we can wait on that."
Will the Lakers feel the pain that we did waiting for Shaq to get well? We couldn't be so lucky. I hate to wish misery on others. But when it comes to the Lakers the gloves are off. I would love to see D'Antoni not able to use Nash.
Kobe Bryant scored six of his 25 points in the final two minutes, and the Los Angeles Lakers hung on for a 95-90 victory over the Brooklyn Nets. Dwight Howard had 23 points and 15 rebounds despite a n awful 7-for-19 performance at the free-throw line for the Lakers, who have won five of six and moved above .500 since firing Mike Brown. And no the Lakers are even with our C's.
