Cs Beat Wizards in OT, 100-93

Posted by paul on November 7, 2012 at 11:00 PM

The Celtics won a hard fought game tonight.  Even though this win seemed to come tougher than the one the other night against the Wizards, it was more encouraging.  The Cs played better D.  They won the game with 'grit and balls'.   Nobody played terribly well, except for KG, who seemed to will this one, yet they won.  The most encouraging sign, apart from the display of grit, was Wilcox sparking the team with his return.  If Wilcox can play more, our Bigs situation should improve a lot.  It was always key that Wilcox come off the bench as our second center.

This team has  a long way to go, but this may have been a good first step.

How about that hesitation jump shot by Rondo right before overtime? Clutch shot

It was nice, and he had the same jumper in overtime.

Wilcox was a spark Paul. So was Jason Terry! Overall the Celtics played big when it mattered. Good signs tonight despite OT win.

I heard that he was shooting without hesitation - awesome. And I liked it that he took the last shot in regulation.

C'sLife, if only Rondo could get back to hitting his free throws! I still say he should go back to the old diaper shot...
