"I tell him every day, 'You're no longer Darko. You're a Celtic,' Boston coach Doc Rivers said. "And one day, we asked him what his name was and he said, 'Celtic.' And everyone just started laughing. All I'm trying to do is get him to forget about trying to be something he isn't -- and just be someone for the team."
At this point it's the truth isn't it? Doc hits it on the head for the draft bust. Is it Darko's fault he was picked 2nd in the draft? Not at all, he wasn't pretending to be something. People fell in love with his potential. Darko is a solid big coming off the bench. But Darko hasn't worked with a guy like KG, so maybe, just maybe Darko will use some of that hidden skill that sits inside of his belly. Honestly I see Darko being a solid performer from time to time through out the season. But I say no that he'll have a breakout season. KG will help him out, but it won't be like an 80's movie when the ugly duck becomes beautiful when you take her glasses off.
